Class Description

Reader's theater is a style of theater in which the actors bring our favorite stories and characters to life without costumes, props, scenery, or special lighting. Actors use only vocal expression to help the audience understand the story. DramaWorks: Reader's Theater will teach students important acting skills through drama warm-ups, theater games, and this creative style of storytelling, as well as increase fluency and comprehension, develop communication skills, and make connections with what they have read.

COVID PHASE CHANGE POLICY - During the covid-19 pandemic, if it becomes necessary to return to Virginia Phase 1, the current classes will become virtual.
