Description

What gets you the callback and makes you stand out in an audition? What are directors looking for beyond a strong singing voice? Performers who know how to act the song! In this musical theater singing class, students will learn how to interpret lyrics, develop characters, and tell compelling stories through song. Students will explore how to approach a song as a dramatic monologue, combining vocal technique with authentic character storytelling. Through examples from musical theater productions and imaginative acting exercises, students will develop the skills to bring songs to life with confidence and authenticity in their next audition or performance!
