Ashley has her B.S. in Performance Pedagogy and an M.A. in Performance Studies from Bob Jones University. After grad school she taught junior high and high school English, theatre, and public speaking for ten years at a private school in South Carolina. During these years, she started a theatre program at her school and directed and coached over eighteen youth productions, while also co-founding a children’s theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC. She recently received her M.F.A. degree in Theatre Pedagogy at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Cailey spent more than a decade as a student at CharacterWorks and has been serving as an assistant teacher since the spring of 2025. Some of her favorite roles include Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" and Anne in "The Diary of Anne Frank." Her years in the program helped her build a strong artistic foundation and deepened her desire to point others to Christ through the arts. She is currently continuing her education at Brightpoint and works part-time as a barista at Reviresco Coffee. Cailey is grateful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation of performers, sharing her love for theater and her faith with the students at CharacterWorks!
