Description

Explore the magic of musical theater! Young performers will be introduced to musical theater through engaging drama games, lively songs, beginner theater dance, and creative crafts, using the power of imagination to develop their performance skills. The class will culminate in a fun-filled, 10-minute showcase for parents, where our young stars will bring highlights from one of our upcoming main-stage musicals, Disney's Tarzan!

Joy Osborne

Joy began with CharacterWorks (then CYT) in 2003 as a college student working in the first CYT summer camp program and has been on staff in different capacities ever since. She is an alumna of both Liberty University (B.S. Consumer Sciences) and Virginia Tech (M.S. Ed). When not at CWorks, Joy homeschools her four children, runs with her dog Luna, and teaches AWANA at Swift Creek Baptist Church.
