Chapter: West End

Time: 4:30pm - 6:15pm
Day: Tuesday
Starts: 12/01

Tuition: $285.00

Explore the magic of musical theater! Young performers will discover the joy of musical theater through drama games, fun songs, beginner theater dance, and creative crafts. Along the way, they’ll use their imaginations to build confidence, creativity, and foundational performance skills. The class will culminate in a lively 10-minute showcase for family, featuring beloved songs performed by the von Trapp children in The Sound of Music, one of our upcoming mainstage musicals!

Joy began with CharacterWorks (then CYT) in 2003 as a college student working in the first CYT summer camp program and has been on staff in different capacities ever since. She is an alumna of both Liberty University (B.S. Consumer Sciences) and Virginia Tech (M.S. Ed). When not at CWorks, Joy homeschools her four children, runs with her dog Luna, and teaches AWANA at Swift Creek Baptist Church.
