Disney's heart-pounding 1999 animated film explodes onto the stage in Tarzan! Featuring rock legend Phil Collins' thunderous original score and a book by Tony-Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang, Tarzan is a powerhouse of a musical.

Washed up on the shores of West Africa, an infant boy is taken in and raised by gorillas who name him Tarzan. Apart from striving for acceptance from his ape father, Tarzan's life is mostly monkey business, until a human expedition stumbles into his tribe's territory and he encounters creatures like himself for the first time. As Tarzan struggles to navigate a jungle thick with emotion, he discovers his animal upbringing may be clashing with his human instincts. Join Jane, Terk, Kerchak, Kala, and more as we swing through the jungles of Africa this spring!

Students registered for a spring CWorks class for students ages 8-18 are eligible to audition. To learn more, visit cworkstheater.org/auditions.

If audition slots are full, email jacob@cworkstheater.org to be added to a waitlist. Students ages 8-11 are encouraged to sign up for audition slots that take place earlier in the audition night (slots before 7PM), and students ages 12-18 are encouraged to sign up for audition slots that take place later in the audition night (slots after 7PM). Siblings are welcome to audition in the same time slot if more convenient.

Students are only permitted to miss up to two days of the rehearsal schedule listed below. If you will miss portions or all of three or more days of this rehearsal schedule, you will not be able to audition for the show. Not all cast will be called to every rehearsal, but we do our best to build rehearsal calls around student conflicts. A detailed rehearsal schedule with specific cast calls will be given out at the first parent meeting.
