At long last, the magic of the Genie returns to the CWorks stage! This new adaptation of Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on both the current hit Broadway show and the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within. Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With hilarious characters, brand new songs, and exciting thrills, this beloved tale will open up “a whole new world” for audiences of all ages!

This production will be performed indoors at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. Patrons are encouraged to wear masks in the theater, but will be required to wear masks in the theater lobby and common spaces.
