The Music Man JR. is family entertainment at its best — a bold, brassy show that will have the whole town atwitter! In this award-winning musical comedy, master showman and fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill attempts to con the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the uptight, upright town librarian whose belief in Harold’s power just might help him succeed in the end in spite of himself. The Music Man JR. features some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance.

This production will be performed outdoors at KingsWay Community Church under the current CDC and VA health and safety protocols. When indoors, patrons who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask, per current CDC guidance. Patrons are asked to bring their own chairs and prepare for warm weather. The Dubuque cast is performing on June 5, and the Davenport cast is performing on June 12. 

Sunday, June 6 and Sunday, June 13 are rain dates. CWorks will alert ticket holders two hours before each show if there is a delay or cancellation due to rain.
